Archetypes

The four AI archetypes

Everyone who takes the test lands in one of four archetypes, based on two things: how exposed their tasks are to AI, and how fast they are adapting.

Exposure is about the work itself. Adaptation is about you: how much you use AI and how quickly you learn. Neither is fixed, so your archetype can change. Read more in the methodology.

The Irreplaceable

Human where it counts, fluent in AI

Your work leans on things AI cannot easily do, like presence, trust and judgement. And you are already using AI to clear the rest off your plate.

Your superpower
You combine a human moat with real AI fluency, which is the rarest and most valuable mix right now.
Your risk
Complacency. When you feel safe, it is easy to stop learning just as the tools take their next leap.

The Centaur

Exposed work, fused with AI

A lot of what you do is the kind of work AI is getting good at. But instead of waiting, you have started working alongside it, and that makes you faster than most.

Your superpower
You already know how to get real work out of AI, which most people in your field are still figuring out.
Your risk
Your edge is speed and fluency, and everyone else is catching up. Standing still for a year would quietly erase it.

The Comfortable

Safe today, but standing still

Your work depends on human things like presence, physical skill or relationships, so AI is not coming for it quickly. But you have not started using it or building new skills, and that gap grows quietly.

Your superpower
You have time on your side. Small, steady moves now will put you far ahead of people who wait.
Your risk
The moat narrows slowly. Colleagues who use AI for the paperwork and planning will start to look more productive than you.

The Endangered

Most exposed, most to gain

Much of your week goes on tasks AI is already doing well, and you have not started using it yet. That sounds scary, but it also means you have the most to gain from acting now.

Your superpower
You know these tasks inside out. People who understand the work make the best people to run the AI that does it.
Your risk
The tasks that fill your week are being automated now, not someday. Waiting is the costly choice.
